Planning Your Micro Wedding: Austin Venues

My summer has been full of shooting plenty of micro weddings, elopements, and tiny weddings, and I have to say - I really love them. These tiny weddings are proof that you can still have a beautiful, meaningful celebration of your love safely and without a ton of people there.

I wanted to put together some information about some of my favorite Austin venues and what they’re offering in the way of mini wedding packages. Scroll down to check them out - I hope this helps you plan your ideal micro wedding, even if you weren’t originally planning for a tiny wedding.

Lizz and Matt’s Wedding at One Eleven East
One Eleven East is now offering a rental option for intimate weddings. The guest limit is 50 people for an 8-hour rental, and the rates are $3500 for Friday & Sunday, $4000 for Saturday. You can contact them here or email info@oneeleveneast.com to schedule a tour (by appointment only).
Vista West Ranch. One of my favorites in Dripping Springs. They’re offering two different options for Monday through Thursday elopement packages.
Option A includes a ceremony with on-site access for up to two hours and up to 20 people. You get access to the outdoor ceremony site, an outdoor cocktail area for restroom usage, and the property grounds for photos. 20 fruitwood folding chairs and an onsite venue manager are included in the $500 rental fee ($500 per extra hour after two hours).
Option B includes a ceremony and biergarten cocktail reception. Like option A, you can have 20 guests and your rental includes 20 fruitwood folding chairs, access to the property grounds for photos, and an onsite venue manager. This option also includes one TABC certified bartender, beer and wine glass rental for twenty, and onsite access for three hours. The rental fee is $2250, with a cost of $750 per extra hour.

Barr Mansion has options for a beautiful, socially-distanced small wedding, too. After the ceremony, a one-tiered wedding cake and champagne to fit the occasion will be provided. Indoor and outdoor options are available, as well as full service and reception options. Contact them here to get more details.
Greenhouse at Driftwood has two options for tiny weddings, and both include an onsite manager available to answer questions and complimentary use of the venue’s 72” round tables and fruitwood folding chairs (set up and breakdown not included).
Angela + Ben’s Greenhouse at Driftwood wedding
The True Elopement option costs $1,500 for two hours and includes a two-hour site rental for up to 10 attendees (including the couple and any hired vendors). The hours may consist of the ceremony, photos, a champagne toast, and/or a small cake cutting. Extra hours can be added on for $500/hour.
The Small Wedding option costs $1,000/hour with a three-hour minimum and includes a three-hour site rental for up to 40 attendees ((including the couple and any hired vendors). The house may consist of the ceremony, photos, a champagne toast, and/or a small cake cutting.

The Allan House offers options for intimate veranda, indoor, or outdoor courtyard ceremonies and receptions. You can rent the space by the hour for your mini wedding with under 25 guests, and you get access to the entire property for photos.

Umlauf Sculpture Garden offers intimate ceremonies and photos in the garden for up to two hours for up to 15 guests. These intimate ceremonies are available Monday-Friday 10am-4pm and Saturday-Sunday 12pm-4pm for a rate of $500.
The other rental option is $800 for up to four hours, which includes the use of the Crenshaw room for before or after ceremony refreshments, a getting ready room, or a weather backup plan if the ceremony needs to be moved inside. Use of the room also includes tangles, 40 chairs, a TV, and a private restroom with a full-length mirror. Learn more here & submit an inquiry here.
Chelsea + Jourdan’s elopement at Chapel Dulcinea
Chapel Dulcinea is an always-affordable (free!) wedding chapel where I’ve had the pleasure of shooting many tiny weddings - most recently, Leslie and Evan’s sweet micro wedding with their combined families. Currently, up to 10 people are allowed in the chapel at a time. You can learn more and reserve the chapel here.

Jessica + JD’s wedding at Villa Antonia
Villa Antonia offers both an elopement package for the couple that wants to celebrate their commitment ceremony and take pictures in a stunning location and a micro wedding package for the couple that wants the experience of a wedding with the traditional milestones of ceremony, cocktails, dinner, cake and dancing, with just their closest family and friends.
The elopement package costs $750 and includes up to 2 hours on site, a venue coordinator, table and chairs, and access to the full venue for pictures. The guest limit is less than 10 people.
The micro wedding costs $750 per hour with up to 5 hours on site available (4 hour minimum). It includes a venue coordinator, parking attendant, tables and chairs, and access to the full venue for pictures. The guest limit is less than 20 people, and you’re invited to bring in catering, bar services, DJ or strings for music, floral, decor, and cake vendors if you’d like.

Mandy + Adam Ma Maison Wedding
Ma Maison, another one of my favorite Dripping Springs venues, offers several different options for curated, intimate and unique elopements & micro weddings.
Their couples only package is perfect for a true elopement, costing $999 for the couple and two guests. This option includes a choice of one of their three gorgeous ceremony sites, a wedding planner/officiant to perform the ceremony, one hour of ceremony and photography time, a bridal bouquet and boutonniere, a personal wedding cake and champagne toast with one bottle of bubbles.
Their micro wedding package costs $1850 for the couple and up to 10 guests. It includes a choice of one of their three gorgeous ceremony sites, a wedding planner/officiant to perform the ceremony, two hours of ceremony and photography time, ceremony chairs, ceremony décor, a bridal bouquet and boutonniere, a personal wedding cake and champagne toast with three bottles of bubbles.
The small wedding package at Ma Maison is their all-inclusive micro wedding package at $2450. It includes everything from the micro wedding package but for the couple and up to 20 guests as well as 5 bottles of bubbles.
The last package, the small weddings- the works package, costs $2950 includes everything from the small wedding package, but with three hours of ceremony/venue and photography time as well as mini cocktail reception-drop off service from an approved caterer (includes linens, 2 cocktail tables and server (price does not include food).
Peached Social House is offering new wedding package pricing through February 2021 for weddings with 50 guests or less. Book $4,000 in food and beverage and receive a complimentary venue rental fee; up to a $3,500 value. Here’s what’s included:
A 5 hour event rental (can extend for $200/hour)
A turnkey experience that includes coordination of your catering, bar, rentals and staff through one person
The opportunity to hire their venue manager for day of coordination
Complimentary on site parking for all guests
Use of their covered patio for ceremony, cocktail hour and other outdoor activations

The Addison Grove has a sweet elopement package that includes access to the entire property including preparation suites for 5 hours, beverages (champagne, 2 beer selections, 1 red wine and 1 white wine for guests), a cutting cake, rentals (complimentary cake table and chairs for up to 20 guests, a cake linen, set up and breakdown), and a bridal bouquet and groom’s boutonnière from the Addison Grove’s in-house florist. Anne + Josh’s wedding at Laguna Gloria
Laguna Gloria is another one of my favorite venues. Their current packages for intimate wedding ceremonies & elopements include use of the Temple of Love or Overlook, admission for up to 15 guests (not including the couple and the officiant), access for up to 2 hours for the ceremony and photos, one year Dual Level membership, and use of a golf card as needed for guest accessibility to the Temple of Love. Rental is available during museum hours only and costs $600 for 2 hours, with additional hours (up to 4 hours total) available at $100/hour.
