The first things that come to mind when I think about this wedding are cider, pork rinds, and pie. It was a great wedding. We started out at the San Jose Hotel on Congress which ended up being a lovely spot for all the wedding party photos and first look. The actual ceremony and reception took place at the Wildflower Center.

Their ceremony took place in the courtyard with olive branches lining the aisle while Sienna Strings played. David walked into the ceremony with his mom and Cecilia walked in with her beautiful grandmother. Their close friend officiated the wedding and Cecilia and David read their personally written vows. The wedding party wore deep teal which looked amazing and beautiful with Cecilia's gold detailed dress.

For the reception, there were pork rinds and pies on every table. Cecilia and David also served their favorite Texas Keeper cider.

Shout out to Lindsey from Highland Ave Events who planned the heck out of this wedding! I was so impressed at how smoothly everything ran and how accommodating she was to my questions about lighting, timing, and everything else.

Here’s what the couple shared with me about their relationship:

"We were introduced by a friend (Kate, a bridesmaid). We were friends for several months while David harbored a crush. We bonded over shared interests (history, action movies) and had our first date 3.5 months after we met. We fell in love very quickly and were spending all our time together before long. We are very affectionate, have the same goofy sense of humor and worldview, and are terrible at looking serious in photos."
