Meg + Syd // Catskills Feminist Photo Vaycay

Feminist Photo Vaycay is one of my favorite times of year. This year FPV happened 3 times and I went twice because I wanted to see the Catskills in full bloom. Every time I attend, I leave with new friends, new knowledge, and renewed faith that I'm on the right path. It's a choose-your-own-adventure type of trip for feminist wedding photographers put together by my favorite extrovert Carly Romeo.

Meg and Syd are two angels who were kind enough to let a bunch of wedding photographers photograph them at Scribner's Lodge in the Catskills.

This was a styled shoot which means it wasn't their actual wedding but they are actually engaged. They went to law school together and on one of the last days, Meg asked Syd out before it was too late.

Dawn Mauberret Events styled and planned this shoot perfectly. I love her eye, her attention to detail, and her ability to be serious, hilarious and get things done all in one moment. Dawn is also an angel. Hire her for your wedding!
