Anneline + Mecca // Catskills Wedding
Where do I start?! This is one of those weddings I didn't know I was photographing until about a few months beforehand. I am so grateful Anneline and Mecca found me. I'm always grateful and feel lucky every single time someone finds something in my work that resonates with them.
They live in Brooklyn but planned for their celebration in the Catskills at Spillian in upstate New York. Spillian is a beautiful inn surrounded by mossy trees and lots of sky. Inside, it's cozy and filled with warm light and glowy corners. There are beautiful views and space to host all your favorites.
This wedding was a celebration of Anneline and Mecca's rejoining and a renewal of their vows with their closest family and friends present. Anneline's father came all the way from South Africa for the celebration. By the end of the ceremony, everyone was teary-eyed including me!
A few things I loved about their wedding:
Their vegan cake and desserts.
Their dedication to planning an amazing wedding in just a few months.
Anneline + Mecca's patience and kindness while I photographed them all over the house.
The wedding party - every single one of them.
Thank you to Arkville Bread and Breakfast for keeping me fed and also being a train car where you can watch other train cars roll by and to Brendan and Max for hosting me in their wonderful airbnb. Scroll down to look through some of my favorite photos from this incredibly special wedding!
