Cynita + Ashley // Long Center Proposal
Ashley got in touch with me a while ago when he was planning his surprise proposal to Cynita and we made plans for The Long Center. It's a great spot that looks over Austin and where I was part of the Austin Unity in Color Event. Typically, it's a spot where you can find free concerts, the start and end of the Cap 10K (I need to start training for this, yesterday), and other big SXSW events.
After checking The Long Center's calendar to see if any events were scheduled and after being 100% certain there wasn't, I arrived and there was a free concert and a whole lot of people. After a brief moment of being the facepalm emoji, I rolled with it! We moved things across the street to Auditorium Shores. Their proposal was a surprise and full of love, but it was also full of people we didn't anticipate.
Afterward, I offered them an opportunity for a second round at The Long Center to get the photos I really wanted to deliver. We opted for sunrise this time, which might be my new favorite time to be there. It's cool temperature wise and pretty empty people wise. They appreciated the opportunity and were able to coordinate outfits this time. It was great to be able to spend more time with them and walk around Auditorium Shores and get the photos we all had in mind.
They're getting married next year and currently split their time between Dallas and Austin. Scroll down to look through some of my favorite photos from their sweet sunrise session.
