April found me via another woman’s workshop I photographed in the same space and knew she wanted her photos taken there too. We threw around some ideas and landed on a session at this Airbnb in East Austin. Her partner came along and helped with her hair, he’s a hair stylist. The more headshots I take, the more I learn how much a location matters. The right space can add depth and personality. A good space will have more than one spot for great photos and lots of window light. We ended up using some of the outdoor spaces as well for some more casual photos. April brought multiple outfits and as always made be a mood board with photos for inspiration.
