An afternoon at Lake Travis

Lake Travis is so wonderful! In the past 24 hours Lake Travis has been fuller than its been since 2011. The lake rose 7ft in the past 24 hours due to all the rain. A week ago it was only about half full, even so our visit there was there was pretty magical.

Longhorn Caverns State Park

A few weeks ago, Mark and I visited Longhorn State Park. After hiking through cedar, cactus, and wild flowers, we enjoyed some sandwiches and a beautiful baguette from Baguette et Chocolat. Landscapes in Texas have a lot more sky and a lot more armadillos than Georgia landscapes. Here are some photos from the day.
