Erin + Brent // East Austin Engagement Session

Erin and Brent are so sweet, so tall, and so excited about planning their wedding. I was really excited to meet them and they were really excited to meet me, which was so nice. They asked me all of the questions and were super detail-oriented, which is great because I had answers for all of their questions. I feel like the decisions they made for their wedding were really intentional, and they were excited to book a photographer who had a collaborative process and would be supportive of their LGBTQ community friends.

They wanted to do their engagement session at Cenote Cafe in East Austin, which is a great spot with a huge patio, great food, and great coffee. They specifically wanted photos just outside of Cenote where they found their 2 cats as kittens (how cute is that?!).

We also went to Tillery Plant Co., an amazing outdoor plant store in East Austin with the best plants and cool little buildings on site. It’s one of those places where you can take really great photos with really great plants, it’s super open, and their hours are flexible if you’re trying to do something a little later in the day. They do have a fee, so get in touch with them to book a time.

Erin and Brent love plants and the outdoors, which is one reason why they’re having their wedding at the Wildflower Center next May (which I’ll be photographing and am super excited for!).
