Briana + Brad // Villa Antonia Wedding

Briana and Brad's intimate December wedding at Villa Antonia was my first Christmastime wedding, and it didn't disappoint. Since they live in Michigan but Briana's family lives in Texas, they wanted to have their wedding in Austin. I didn't get to meet them until their rehearsal the day before the wedding, but they were just wonderful. I also met the infamous Scott Payne there!

If you're planning on having a ceremony more on the religious side of things, Scott Payne is the officiant you're looking for. He isn't afraid to break out in song, do magic tricks, or even lend you his coat when it's cold outside. By some twist of fate, I saw him again at a wedding I photographed the very next day. It's a small world!

Briana and Brad's wedding was small, with just their closest relatives in attendance. My favorite parts of their wedding were how excited Briana and Brad were to get married, the incredible floral arrangements at the ceremony, Brad's mom who was so helpful throughout the day and of course Scott Payne! Villa Antonia is like a small castle with a great view, and it has so many nooks and crannies where you can take photos and it lends itself to so many different wedding set ups.
