Mikaela + Drew // Waller Ballroom + Easy Tiger Wedding

Mikaela and Drew truly are a great couple. They make you feel like they really want to know you and they're both so themselves in everything they do. After shooting their engagement, I knew their wedding would be lovely and it absolutely was.

They had a short and sweet ceremony at Waller Ballroom downtown, which has a beautiful open room with exposed brick that you can really do whatever you want with. They decided to set up a classic arch and had the chairs facing it. 

Afterwards, there was champagne and cake and then we all crossed the street to go to the reception at Easy Tiger, a downtown go-to for amazing beer and pretzels with beer cheese. It's a really cool space with a giant wall covered in ivy, and it's right next to Waller Creek which was kind of empty but still looked beautiful at night when it was all lit up. 

Easy Tiger had a big tent out on the patio with the DJ and picnic-style tables set up underneath. I loved that Mikaela and Drew had different books they love, including Harry Potter and Narnia, stacked on each table. 

Their people were all there and it was so clear how much they all love this couple. Their best friends gave great speeches (there was a lot of crying) and Mikaela's parents just seemed so proud of her and happy for her. There was a lot of hanging out with their friends, doing shots, dancing (Drew is a really great dancer!), a bouquet toss, and they really just did everything they wanted to do. There was a lot of Selena playing, which is super Texas and I love it.
